A memorial service for Rebecca Blank took place on March 4, 2023, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Madison. The service program is available here.
The campus remembered her with a memorial resolution adopted by the Faculty Senate and a carillon concert on Oct. 2, 2023.
Chancellor Rebecca Blank Great People Scholarship Fund
Should you wish to remember Chancellor Blank by making a gift, her family asks that you consider making a donation to the Chancellor Rebecca Blank Great People Scholarship Fund online or by mail.
This scholarship fund was originally established with gifts from Becky Blank and Hanns Kuttner as their contribution to UW’s All Ways Forward campaign. It provides tuition assistance for University of Wisconsin–Madison students with financial need. Endowment distributions from all the funds created as part of the campaign have made it possible for 5,000 more scholarships to be awarded each year.
